The refrigeration and air conditioning system achieves temperature regulation through the cycle working principle. This process involves four main links: evaporation, compression, condensation and expansion. Among them, the compressor, as the "heart" of the system, is responsible for compressing the low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant gas into high-temperature and high-pressure gas, providing sufficient heat and pressure for the subsequent condensation process. The compressor gearbox plays a vital role in this process. It efficiently and smoothly transmits the rotational power of the motor to the compressor main shaft to drive its normal operation.

In the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, the compressor gearbox is usually used in conjunction with various types of compressors, such as reciprocating compressors, screw compressors, centrifugal compressors, etc. These compressors have their own characteristics, but no matter which type, a reliable transmission device is required to ensure the effective transmission of power.

Reciprocating compressor: Reciprocating compressors are widely used in small refrigeration equipment due to their simple structure and low manufacturing cost. In this type of compressor, the compressor gearbox is usually responsible for converting the rotational motion of the motor into the linear motion of the piston, and realizing the smooth transmission of power through precise gear transmission.
Screw compressor: Screw compressors are widely used in large refrigeration and air-conditioning systems due to their high efficiency, low noise, and smooth operation. In this type of compressor, the compressor gearbox is responsible for transmitting the rotational power of the motor to two intermeshing screw rotors, and the gas is compressed through the rotation and meshing of the spiral rotors.
Centrifugal compressor: Centrifugal compressors are mainly used in large central air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. Their high-speed rotating impeller accelerates the refrigerant gas and converts it into pressure energy. In this type of compressor, the compressor gearbox usually plays a role of speed increase, converting the low-speed rotation of the motor into the high-speed rotation of the impeller to meet the system's requirements for high pressure ratio and large flow.
